Serendipitous Wedding in Santorini
Both the groom Jun and the bride Qiao spent their college days in the Netherlands and are well-traveled in Europe. It didn’t take too long for them to conceive the idea of an overseas wedding in a European destination. Just when they were still undecided over the many appealing destinations available, news media about Santorini weddings caught their attention. Coincidentally, Our team was featured in that media coverage. Fate is a really magical thing, it played an important role to bring all of us together.
Our team then undertook the grand plan of a wedding in Santorini as well as a honeymoon travel planning for the couple. All things went perfectly well until the day they arrived in Athens. The airline lost one of their bags and to make things worse, the wedding gown and suit were in it! After so many failed attempts to track down the bag, the couple was already in a state of despair. “What shall I wear to the wedding!” Qiao exclaimed.
Miracle do happen
Just when all hopes seemed lost, a miracle happened! One of our Greek friends in Santorini offered her a Pronovias gown which she wore for her own wedding some years ago. This news brought great relief to Qiao. Unbelievably, the gown was very well-kept and after trying it on, she was ecstatic! “This gown is even more gorgeous than the one I had and miraculous it totally fit on me like it was meant for me in the first place!” she said with affirmation.
But, that is still half the problem solved. How about our groom? While we sort out the details of our bride, we sent Jun to a boutique in Fira town for some shopping and he came back smiling with a nice outfit.
As we commence the ceremony, the weather could not be any kinder to Jun and Qiao along with all the elements of a nice wedding properly in place. The gorgeous photos say it all!
