The story of Wenlong and Stella is our latest blog after a long and busy period in Greece. Our groom and bride came a long way to have this beautiful wedding in Santorini. By that not only do we mean the distance from their home in China but also from the time we speak to the couple, to the extensive planning of their Greece honeymoon and Santorini wedding, then to actually welcome them on the island.
The Wedding Day
Wedding preparation started early in the morning to make the most out of the best light for photos. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day to start with. Basking under the Aegean sun and live traditional music playing and surrounded by close friends, Wenlong and Stella exchanged vows in an emotional ceremony at a beautiful venue, the highest ground along the caldera rim offering an unsurpassed view of the unique volcanic landscape of Santorini. Following the closing of the ceremony and some group shots, the couple took the opportunity for a brief outdoor photoshoot at some of the postcard-worthy locations in Santorini.
Our couple was really impressed with the island along with the newfound love for Greek hospitality. Spoiled with plenty of mouth-watering Mediterranean cuisine, captivating landscape, locally produced wines, and fascinating history, Wenlong and Stella couldn’t ask for a better destination for a romantic vacation, and most importantly for the wedding!
